(More customer reviews)We've been eating a lot of "sushi" lately, and I was looking for an alternative to wasabi for my child. I found this stuff by chance. Fantastic! Its a very sweet sauce with a medium burn, and loads of garlic flavor. Imagine those bland duck sauce packets you get with take out, then add garlic and chilies. Its not what you would normally use on real sushi. The taste is too strong if you enjoy the subtle flavors of the different fish. But at our house, we make a roll with rice, cooked shrimp and green onions. These are strong tasting anyway, and this compliments them perfectly.
This would be great on spring rolls, dumplings, or Thai BBQ too. One of the must haves in our kitchen.
