Mad for molasses? If you're not now, you surely will be after a bite of these oh-so-good soft cookies from Newman's Own Organic line. They're chock full of raisins and a nice three bite size (although our house spouse makes a Hermit disappear in two).
They remind me of the large molasses cookies my grandmother used to bake. While hers were a hard cookie and dotted with sugar, these have the same rich taste. Don't misunderstand the word "rich," there are only 80 calories in a cookie and, of course the all important zero-zip-nada cholesterol.
I've found that after opening the cookies stayed soft and moist for up to a week when stored in a tightly covered container. Of course, that meant fighting off the hungry for Hermits ones - but it was all for the sake of research!
