(More customer reviews)GuS, the Grown Up Soda, makes some nice natural fruit sodas, but this ginger ale isn't up to that standard. Advertised as a "lightly sweetened ginger ale with real ginger extract", this soda just doesn't have much flavor. It's lightly carbonated -probably too lightly for a ginger ale. It has a fresh, light, crisp flavor that lives up to its "extra dry" name at least in part. But the ginger flavor is weak. That's too bad, because GuS Ginger Ale has a freshness that would be appealing if it only had more flavor. Popular brands of ginger ale are stale and heavy compared to this. But GuS Ginger Ale is watery compared to them. Many people use ginger ale as an anti-nausea drug. I don't have much confidence in this soda in that capacity, because the flavor is so weak. But a chunk of crystallized ginger works far better for nausea than ginger ale anyway. Like the label says, GuS Extra Dry Ginger Ale is 100% Natural and Not Too Sweet. It 's also kosher. But not flavorful. If you're looking for a natural ginger ale, Izze Sparkling Ginger is pretty good, but it is a sweet soda.
