(More customer reviews)These Chicken Consomme CUBES are the tastiest, most convenient thing in my pantry! Really, they are a staple at our house. Kosher, too. They are not as quick to melt as others, tho, and if you just throw one in your soup pot without melting it first, the cube swells, sinks to the bottom and serves up whole when the soup is ready. So soften cubes in boiling water, stirring to melt the cube, before you use it. These cubes also make a large cup of hot broth which is great to satisfy your appetite, so be sure to try it! 1 cube contains: 40 calories, 2 gr fat, 1 gr sat fat, 0 trans fat, (50% of calories are from fat!) 0 cholesterol, 1220 mg sodium, 6 carbs, 2 gr sugar, 2 gr protein and 0 fiber.
